‘Very pleased to be spreading the vegan message on my first ever outing as a Vegan Runner at a local Parkrun. Not sure some folk had been exposed to an in-your-face vegan slogan before, after all it was Melton Mowbray, home of the pork pie. Very smart and distinctive vest. Won it, though in a very slow time due to hilly course and no one to race against. Apologies for miserable selfie face!!’
