a community of cruelty-free runners of all abilities
Vegan Runners is a UK-wide athletics club full of beautiful, compassionate runners of all levels of ability. We promote a healthy, performance-enhancing, cruelty-free lifestyle to runners and encourage vegans to take up running.
The club is a non-profit-making organisation; the income we receive is reinvested in the club to benefit our members and support our goals of promoting a cruelty-free lifestyle to runners and encouraging vegans to take up running.
The fastest-growing athletics club in the UK
Join the Family
Most athletics clubs are sports teams whose members are connected through coincidental geographical proximity. Vegan Runners are a family who share a bond of love for one another, our fellow animals (including some humans) and our beautiful planet.
We are the fastest-growing athletics club in the country with over 1,700 members (November 2017). Our membership has increased five-fold in the last three years. If we continue that rate of growth, we will have over 1 billion members by 2040. Join us now to help make that a reality.
RUN BY VEGAN RUNNERS FOR VEGAN RUNNERS
The club is run by Vegan Runners for Vegan Runners. We encourage all our members to contribute whatever they can so that our glorious club can continue to thrive.
The creativity, love and hard work of our volunteers has made the club what it is today.
Please contact your local committee representative or join our Facebook groups if you would like to volunteer. Any help you can provide will be gratefully received whether you have any special skills or you would like to assist with events such as vegan festivals, training runs and social events in your area or to manage the club’s relationship with one of our partners.
The Vegan Runners UK committee is elected at the club’s Annual General Meeting which takes place in November. If you are interested in joining the committee, you will have the opportunity to put yourself or a clubmate forward.
Vegan Runners are also crazy keen to spread the love and help the world know more about the physical, psychological and spiritual benefits of a healthy, cruelty-free lifestyle.
If you can help us to publicise our fantastic club and the work we do for our communities and animal rights, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
