💚🖤 Amazing numbers on this third parkrun of April 2024, with 967 Vegan Runners attending 405 different parkrun events. 902 of us gained a finish token and we had over 65 wonderful volunteers.

I attended the Burgess parkrun pre-marathon meetup which included two of our top speediest men who were taking it easy before the big day; which was wonderful because now I can say that I beat Darren Comeau and Harry Pannell 🤣🤣. I also had the absolute pleasure of meeting Tracy Moroz – who is one of our fastest ladies – AND I had fun learning how to create Strava Art with Steven Crutchley and Andy Brinkworth, although the planned bird ended up decapitated and we had to abandon it. For those of you, who like me, rarely attend meetups, I highly recommend making the effort. It’s brilliant fun! Have a great week – looking forward to seeing the results of next week’s mid-week poll.
