Ed: The next training session at Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham is planned for 24 July. Meet outside the Community Building adjacent to the main car park at 11am, if it is raining meet inside the entrance.
The session will last approximately an hour and include an initial group run to warm up followed by a number of intervals (point to point) at a faster pace, re-grouping at the end point with short break before returning to the original start point. It will also be suggested that the faster runners on reaching the end point should loop back at a slow pace to link up with the last runner and finish together.
Following the last interval, there will be a further group run, looping back where necessary to keep together.
It would be useful to confirm your attendance in advance otherwise on the day, if you need to contact me ring/text 07967 589663. A reminder that I shall be travelling from Milton Keynes by coach and should hopefully reach Cannon Hill Park by 1045. Personal belongings not needed during the session should be left in cars and anyone travelling by public transport or other means should be able to deposit items with agreement in a car or we can agree on secure arrangements on the day.
Look forward to meeting many of you on the day. Following the session we will retire to the Community Café close to our meeting point that has vegan options including soya milk.
