💚🖤 Magnificent attendance again on this third week of March 2024 with 920 VRs attending 391 different parkrun events. 848 gained a finish token and we had over 72 wonderful volunteers. Many marvellous meetups were organised and enjoyed again, with the most popular occurring at Eastville parkrun, with a massive thirty VRs showing how strong, dedicated and friendly our vegan running club is. Another great week for Vegan Runners attending parkrun. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Deb Porter at my home parkrun of Greenwich, Deb is such an inspirational and interesting lady. I was also very lucky to meet the wonderful Kate Buttimer, the incredible Brad Scarborough, the lovely Cate Mullen, the super Sharon Weinstein and the birthday celebrator Andy McMillan at the Salisbury 10-mile race on Sunday. We had such an immediate and easy connection because of our club affiliation, and it made me realise how thankful I am to be part of such a wonderful community. I’m really looking forward to meeting more of you at Gunnersbury parkrun next week!
