Cool and crisp conditions pervaded the entirety of the UK on this 2nd parkrun of November with frost and fog descending on many locations before being replaced by brilliant blue skies. What a contrast from last week’s rain! 807 Vegan Runners embraced the chilly challenge and graced 350 events, with 732 VRs completing the 5km courses and at least 75 lovely VRs volunteering. Many magnificent meetups occurred, the most popular taking place at:
30 Quakers Walk parkrun
18 Southampton parkrun
12 Hastings parkrun
10 Woodhouse Moor parkrun
10 Clacton Seafront parkrun
7 Colwick parkrun

💚🖤 I hope this report gives a good balance between serious and fun, I’m still working on trying to find out how to get PBs which would be great to include. We can’t include all achievements and some data is impossible or at least very difficult to get. Hopefully this serves as a celebratory round-up and overview of Vegan Runners’ parkrun experiences and gives everyone a random chance of a mention. Have a wonderful week! Keep running and repping! 💚🖤
