Congratulations to John Bateson and Ollie Sheard on their excellent performances at the Surrey Half Marathon in Woking on Sunday.

John reports:

‘Happy to have managed a PB at Woking half marathon. Only by a few seconds, but still defying creeping age and inconsistent training. 10th in age group with 1.19.37 – it was a decent field. Plus met Ollie, one of the army of great Brighton-area vegan runners.’

Ollie:

‘Came in at 1:31 today at the Surrey half. And also met a fellow Vegan Runner ….. The tannoy announcement was funny when I came in “oh! And here’s a second vegan runner!”‘
