Some like it hot and it was a hot one on this second parkrun of June across the UK. 806 VRs attended 325 events, we had 736 VRs scanned with an average time of 30:08, which is a fantastic time considering the balmy conditions.

Veganism is a lifestyle not a diet and it’s fantastic to see so many of us repping and meeting up at events where we can generate interest within the parkrun community. Like VRs, parkrun is inclusive and committed to enabling and supporting the community into becoming fitter, healthier and kinder. This is essentially why I’m so passionate about VRs park-running 💚🖤💚🖤
Research increasingly points to plant-based diets being more effective in enhancing athletic performance and that certainly seems to be evident in our top speedy results this week, just look at these times!
