The next training session at London’s Regent’s Park will be on Sunday, 7 October if there are sufficient numbers. The last session only saw an attendance of 5 including two members visiting London and myself. We need an attendance of at least five to make it worthwhile for me to arrange the session and travel from Milton Keynes. Let me know by Friday, 5 October if you are planning to come. The meeting point as normal will be inside the Hub café in the north of the park at 10.30am. Deposit lockers are available for a £1. The session will start by 11am and last at least an hour, returning to the Hub shortly after noon for a drink and social.
Note that there is the monthly Regent’s Park 10K race earlier that morning but that starts at 9am so will be over by the time we arrive. The Royal Parks Half Marathon is also starting at 9.30am from Hyde Park but the route is south-east to Victoria Embankment so does not affect us unless you are travelling that way. One of our regular competing members Sarah Whitson from Cambridge is running.
Looking forward to a good turnout on 7 October in Regent’s Park.
Regards
Peter Simpson
