7th May VRUK held a stall at Newcastle Vegan Festival for the 3rd year, it is always an awesome festival with a good turn out. This year it was to be the first ever vegan festival in the UK ,to be televised by the TV channel Made in Tyne & Wear. If any of you seen the show you may of caught a glimpse of our stall, and club member Rich who seemed to be walking around every where the camera was,sporting club kit ??(good stuff Rich). The show was very positive towards veganism. We had a great day and signed 23 new members, special thanks to Chris & Kevin for the Geordie banners and big thank you Holly,colleen,Ian,neil and chris B for your help on the stall.
