Tim Ridley says:
Just joined the Vegan runners, and trainning is going well. A group of us did the Dorking 10 mile event on the 1st of June, we all had a good run I think I was about 145th and my official time was 1hr and 9 mins (won in 57mins) which I was well pleased with as it was a warm day and the course is quite hilly. The gradient is good to keep you fighting. I employed the “put your head down and run” system and it paid off, as I was fourth scoring person for herne Hill. I am looking forward to a hard weeks trainning after a nice rest in Dorset ( including a visit to the Square and Compass cider pub and three swims in the sea) .
Jacqueline Bond has done a half-IronMan and is therefore, we expect, too knackered to speak!

June starts with 3 10ks in 8 days. On schedule for pb at Poole until suffering the dreaded stitch at 8.5k. Just enough wind in face at Portsmouth to do the damage. Went out the back door at Winchester. Sustainability assured by Vegan recovery drink compound available in most running shops.(PSP22 & RECO)
