Some great running and PBs reported by members on facebook over the past few days!
Catherine Hansford tells:
“I managed a 1:28:35 at the Wimborne 10 (miles) which I’m pleased with as it was undulating and I ran a faster pace than the half marathon just last month. I ran very comfortable but held back a bit for the hill at the end only to discover it wasn’t that steep or long! Half way through I was wondering where the mile 4 hill was only to pass a Marshall clapping and saying well done you’re past the hill! Note to self – it’s always worse in your head that in reality!”
Jon Randall, pictured above, was pleased to report a PB at the Richmond Old Dear Park 10K finishing in 39m 16s, 24th out of 604.
Jenny McNamara finished 3rd lady in the Bath Skyline 10k this morning and reports her 4th place at last weeks Goathland Trail Half Marathon was upgraded to 3rd.
Lisa Mundy and Jacqueline McGurty (above) both enjoyed good conditions and times at the Swindon 10k.
Fiona Oakes finished 2nd lady in the inaugural Volcano Marathon despite twisting her knee on a really tough sounding course – the final marathon of her 7 continents and the polar ice cap challenge is in just 2 days time! Click on the picture if you want to help out.
