The members have chosen Sunday, 13 November as the next monthly training session at Regents’ Park. The meeting point will be upstairs inside The Hub Café at 10.30am and we will aim to start between 1045 & 1100. Contacts and other runners new to these sessions are welcome.
The format for the training session can be decided on the day otherwise a session normally starts with a group run of 10-15 minutes (keeping together) followed by a number of intervals either point to point or number of minutes (eg 6x2mins at your personal fast pace with re-group jog and a short recovery eg 30 secs), further group run of 5 minutes, a longer point to point or circular run at below your fast pace (tempo run) and finally group run to the Hub. Note that there is a training news item on the website. After the session runners have the option to meet up for a drink in The Hub Café.
A named leader / contact on the day for the session is not yet is not known. When we have more information it will be announce here or on the website otherwise on the day look out for members wearing vegan runners kit.
