Congratulations to Nina Nickerson on her 10k PB at the Humpty Dumpty 10k at Freethorpe last weekend – a bit shorter distance than she’s used to!

‘I ran the Humpty Dumpty 10k this morning in 44:59 -PB for that distance. I haven’t ran a 10k since last July-it’s quite a nice distance isn’t it!’

Nik Windle gave his shoes the heave-ho at the Thame 10k after they rubbed him up the wrong way which didn’t make for a good time but a least meant an interesting finish photo 🙂

‘Thame 10k didn’t quite go to plan this morning! I was hoping for around 48 mins and was on target for the first half but an increasingly sore spot on top of my right foot meant I had to stop and adjust the tongue on my shoes twice to prevent rubbing. By 7k it was getting really unpleasant and the shoes, which had done this to me once before, went in the nearest bin to the amusement of local supporters.’
