A hilly course, and this year the worst weather I think I’ve ever run in – strong winds and driving rain throughout, parts of the course under a few inches of water. Even the winner took just over the hour, which says everything (the winning time in 2008 was 57:08). Saw Dianne and Adrian Wynne there too.

Fantastic weather again this year (see “not always raining”! – Ed), nice flat course thru the town and along the sea front. My best time at this distance for many years.
