RUN FOR THE PLANET (5K)

Join Vegan Runners UK at 10:30AM on Sunday 23 June 2024 in the beautiful surroundings of the river Mersey in Didsbury M20 2RU, for an exciting and eco-friendly charity event. Start with a run, finish collecting your eco-friendly medal. Then relax and enjoy the delicious free vegan food, whilst listening to artists and poets, singing and speaking for the planet.

The run briefing will start at 10.30am, and the run will start shortly after. This is not a timed run. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, just starting out, a walker or just coming to support, everyone is welcome. Kids can take part in the 5k run, but there is a shorter fun run for younger children. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

RUN FOR THE PLANET (VIRTUAL RUN)

Can’t make it but want to participate, then take part in our virtual run. All you have to do is buy a virtual run ticket and run or walk at least a 5km route and share on your social media with the tag #A Run For The Planet. We will contact soon after the race for your address to send you a free medal.

PEOPLE PLACE PLANET DIDSBURY

We are pleased to have the local community group People Place Planet Didsbury supporting the event and joining us on the day with a stall. Together we are stronger, raising awareness and fighting climate change.

ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO CHARITIES

100% of your money raised through ticket sales will go to Animal Sanctuaries.
