Ed: Anna deserves even more plaudits after this performance!!! Without the 10 marathons in 10 days a fortnight before the event in 2010, Anna was able to focus more on the Grand Union Canal Run of 145 miles however Anna has suffered with health problems as documented in her blog over several months but sailed through this time like it was just another average marathon!!!

Anna finished in 35 hours 43 minutes, an improvement of 5 hours and 22 minutes on her 2010 time. Anna was also 3rd lady and 19 / 53. There were 92 starters so 39 retired during the event.
