Fantastic numbers this week considering all the other events which were taking place on this fourth event of June 2024. 893 Vegan Runners attended 385 different parkrun events. 813 gained a finish token and we had over 80 wonderful volunteers. It was tutu parkrun day – the 22nd day of the month (two-two) when some parkrunners rock up to their parkrun event wearing tutus. Two VRs ran their tutu event, not in tutus as far as I know, but in exactly 22:22 – congratulations tutu:

It’s been so fantastic to have witnessed via our weekly results the fantastic progress of Fiona Newman, who has been chasing a sub20 parkrun for a while now. Fiona has gone from a best age grading of 58.93% in 2015 to an age grading of 87.67% now – absolutely incredible!
