❄️ Crisp and frosty conditions greeted Vegan Runners on this last parkrun of November, with clear skies and sunshine enhancing most UK locations. Ground conditions were good compared to the wet and squishy terrain encountered last week, many PBs I suspect, but that’s for another post.
?? 837 VRs attended 371 events, 773 members collected a barcode and over 64 of us volunteered. ??
There were 30 meetups of five or more VRs, the most popular this week held at:
26 The Old Showfield parkrun
17 Worcester Pitchcroft parkrun
11 Portobello parkrun, Edinburgh
10 Southampton parkrun
9 Preston Park parkrun, Brighton

Another week of fantastic repping and results, all of us visibly demonstrating a range of benefits of veganism – including fun, friendships and fitness. Well done everybody! Sometimes it can feel daunting to go out in the freezing cold wearing our clear message “VEGAN RUNNERS” which isn’t always well received, but it’s always worth it. ??
I have a snowflake on my phone for our next parkrun! ❄ Enjoy the chilly challenge! Have a great week.
