I completed the TwoCastles race. I came through in 1.03.12 which Im very pleased with as it was so humid that the first person through took 35 minutes, a good couple of minutes more than they expected the first person to come through, It was so hot they put 3 water stations on the route and a local set up a sprinkler system for us to run through. If I hadn’t had stopped at all water stations I may have been faster. Position 1709/2308 which is a bit better than I used to be in the rankings.

So perhaps your conservative strategy was the right choice after all! – Ed.
