Ed Banks one our top runners sent the following email after his event near Coventry:

Isn’t it funny when good runs can just happen when you least expect it? This weekend I ran the Kenilworth Half Marathon in the cold and the rain and did not think I would do particularly well. Having not done much training since the Nottingham Marathon, I wasn’t expecting great things, but much to my surprise I felt really comfortable. I managed to stay with a pretty fast pack of runners and came 9th in a time of 1:18:15, 3 minutes faster than I have ever run before. A good way to celebrate my 10th half marathon!

Needless to say my legs haven’t forgiven me yet, but I hope that they do in time for the Coventry Half in 2 weeks!
