…I’d just say that it was an absolutely fantastic day – really well organised and amazing support from the huge crowds. I was really pleased with my time of 3:57:50 (and just to finish actually) .It was a burning hot day but it was a great boost to have the sun out and everybody in good spirits – even people spraying you with their hose-pipes! I was also ecstatic to raise over £600 for the Cats Protection adoption centre where I work. This was my first marathon, and you know what? Even though my legs are STILL hurting, I don’t think this will be my last!
