General Road Racing Information

There is a number of road racing competitions in the UK where the participation entry is coordinated through the club. The road racing events take place throughout the whole year and all over the UK.

The relays and annual league affiliation fees, where we will have a representative team(s), are paid by the club. The rules of road racing leagues do vary – some have additional entry fees for each participant.

In an ideal situation, the club would like to have teams in many leagues, but that does require local volunteer coordinators/ managers for each league. We also need sufficient numbers of participating members for team results.

Most road racing championships will require members to have active England Athletics membership with Vegan Runners UK being their 1st claim club. Some local leagues may accept members with Vegan Runners UK as their 2nd claim club.
