Paul Loader's debut 10K in Chichester

Despite the overnight snow the Chichester 10K went ahead as planned, featuring the regional 10K championship on a fast course, a venue where five VRUK members competed in 2007. Paul used it as part of his marathon training for London, a distance he is more familiar. Paul wrote on Facebook VRs:

It was great to run my first ever 10k race today. I was spurred on by seeing Dave Arnold at the start of the race, I was expecting him to go past me any minute; great to see you Dave. GO Vegan Runners!!!

Had to laugh at one of the stewards who told me as I ran past him that I needed more protein.

Not sure where Dave came (ed: 40.12, 161st) but I’ve just looked at the website now & believe I came in 92 place with a time of 37min 36sec (92nd / 1435) and very happy.
