The editor ran his 2nd Park Run, 6 days after missing the Winslow 10K due to illness plus a dodgy left knee. Decided in advance not to go for a fast time, lined up further back and consequently was held back. After the early climb I began to pick up pace, slowly moving up the field. With around 2K to go, I passed a regular training colleague who I normally finish ahead which gave me reason to push on and up the pace. Passed several more runners who happened to be close together and finished well but in one of my slowest 5K times, 21.34.
