Well done Rafal Tkaczyk and Catherine Hansford running 5k PBs on Wednesday – and to young Riley (who we’ll be looking to sign-up) on his 600m PB.

Rafal reports:

‘I did 5k trail run in Langley Park today and managed 2nd place in 19.25. Low Key event with only about 60-70 runners but still pleased with the result as i never actually raced such a short distance. If anyone lives nearby it was first of the 3 races happening and it’s a really nice run on well defined park paths and trails. Very friendly atmosphere, marshalled and very cheap, only £10.50 for 3 races.’

’24:31 PB’d by 7 seconds at 5k Yeovilton Summer Series tonight despite a shoelace malfunction and 5th in my age category! Next time sub-24!
Riley did the 600m dash and got his first ever medal! Don’t know if he got a PB yet as kids times are done manually. He ran by himself tonight but got a pep talk from Daddy half way round when he looked like he was struggling a bit!’
