Congratulations to those hardy vegan runners who did the Martello Marathon last weekend. It was cold, wet and windy, maybe what you expect for the second weekend of January, but there was compensation in the form of vegan cake and a vegan option goody bag offered by the organisers, Saxon Shore, at this and thier many other events.

Members Alex Portwine, Jonathan Errington, Emine Ismail de Sanchez, Gary Brampton and Maria Pali ran the Saturday race with Emine, Gary and Maria running the 2nd marathon on Sunday (that’s right, back to back marathons in January). Maria completed her 52nd matathon in 52 weeks and her 98th overall so 100 Marathon Club here we come 🙂
