Claire Fullbrook-Scanlon eliminates the disappointment of missing the Milton Keynes Marathon in May 2012 due to non-running injury , replacing it with a running holiday on the French Riviera on 4 November and reports, “…Really pretty route and would recommend it to anyone. Fantastic goody bag at the end with piles of fresh fruit, plus a haversack, tech t shirt and of course the medal! I was about 10 mins slower than I’d anticipated (5:41:08). With my post race critical analysis of my performance I think I know the reasons why, being awake from 3am on the morning of the race being a significant factor!!
