London Training Session, 10 February

Regents Park / Primrose Hill Training Session
A reminder that the monthly training session is planned for this Sunday 10 February, meet in the north of Regent‘s Park at The Hub sports facility upstairs in the café at 1030am. Deposit lockers (£1) are available and a shower if required costs £2 at reception.  The session as normal will last about an hour with possibly a photo at the start and we will meet back in the Hub café. The format of the session will range from:
  1. Group running
  2. Interval training including track circuits
  3. Some hill climbing
  4. Tempo running.
If you have Vegan Runners kit, please wear it to the session to help us meet-up as well as raise awareness and be prepared for the cold by the way of an extra layer, gloves, hat, etc.
NB With cross country events scheduled for myself and David Campbell on 16 & 23 February we may take the opportunity for an off-road run around Regents Park prior to the meet-up at 10.30am. The main session will be on the normal paths.
It would be useful to have an idea who is coming along by sending a brief message to this address otherwise on the day the contact mobile for Peter is 07967 589663. If you are attending for the first time or indeed anyone who has previously participated, please allow extra time to cross the park especially from the southern end. A late start can discourage future attendance of runners who have arrived promptly.
