Siobhan Carleton-Green reports back on a too hot half by the Thames last Sunday:

‘Finished probably the hottest half-marathon I’ve ever done on Sunday the Purple Patch Down Tow Up Flow half that this year went from Windsor to Marlow as with all Purple Patch event it was excellently organised with great marshals. But it was tough the only reason I’m smiling in this photo is because it was nearly over and I got an unexpected cheer from some friends that came to show support. Thanks to them I managed to sneak in just under 2 hours with a time of 01:59:51’ 🙂
