Celine, Nicola and I enjoyed a good run at the Chalgrove Festival 10k on Bank Holiday Monday. Instead of the wet and windy conditions runners at many events experienced a day earlier we got sunshine, a pleasant breeze and maybe a bit warm for comfort for the last couple of miles.

Nicola and Celine’s training in the hillier terrain round Tring seemed to pay off with them both getting PBs despite a course the organisers describe as undulating (though I think that is a bit of an exaggeration). I was pleased get under 50 mins despite the hill.
