Member Rafal Tkaczyk demonstrates vegan stamina in the beautiful mountains of Poland:

‘I completed 60k mountain race today in the Polish Beskidian region. Time: 09:03:49, Position 27th out of about 100 runners which I’m really happy about. The race took in a couple of mountains with a total of 3500m climb and over challenging but beautiful terrain. Start was at 4am which meant the first climb and descent had to be run in absolute darkness and the fact that the thick fog covered the mountains made it even more challenging. I took it easy from the start which was a good strategy as I passed tens of runners after half way while being passed by a few only. I had a really good run, never hit a wall and if it wasn’t for a really rocky and muddy last 7k I would be flying downhill.’
