‘Done the Ben Nevis Race on Saturday – about 14km long, 1300m up and down. A long climb, then a rough, rocky descent. Not bad weather for it, a bit of a cool breeze, with the top of the mountain in the clouds. Time of 02:33:41, so over 3 minutes faster than last year. Position 295/486.’
