A good turnout of vegans, including at least 6 Vegan Runners UK members, at the lumpy Beachy Head Marathon this weekend, according to Maria Pali:
‘Beachyhead marathon was swarming with vegans today – some in vests, some in disguise – here are four of us at the start. Met several today and hope you all had as good a run as I did’
Verna Burgess reports:
‘Fabulous weather, usual brutal hills, great turnout from VRUK and my 1st claim club (Tring RC). As this is TRC club event obliged to wear club vest but donned VRUK kit afterwards. Pleased to feel strong at the start of Seven Sisters, still “running” and determined not to be beaten on the line this week, wasn’t. Oh and pb for course in 4.15, 35th lady and 266/1653 overall.’
