A family outing to the Last Friday of the Month 5k in Hyde Park today.

It was good conditions, cloudy but warm and dry. We trooped off to a veggie/vegan restaurant afterwards too to refuel – Beatroot in Berwick Street, nr Oxford Circus.

I was pleased with my time – a minute or so better than I have been doing over the last few weeks.

I can recommend these races – only £2.00 to enter but not so cheap when you add on £40.00 train fare. Apply well ahead – it fills up and you can only do by snail mail.
